Optimizing a cross-platform app for native systems
The project was aimed at creating a high-performance banking application that integrates multiple platforms: Android, iOS and Web. The project team consisted of 3 analysts, 2 Android developers, 2 iOS developers, 2 web developers, 3 server developers, 2 testers and 1 designer. The main task was to speed up the application, as well as improve the user experience by splitting it into separate platforms and introducing new functionality.
The customer's key request was not only to improve performance, but also to analyze existing user paths to make them more convenient and intuitive. In the process, we paid special attention to optimizing every stage of user interaction with the application. The designer's role in the project was crucial. Using Material Design 3 guideline for Android and Apple Human Interface Guidelines for iOS, I was able to create a user-friendly and harmonious interface that meets the standards of each platform and provides the user with a better experience.
Through attention to detail and adherence to each platform's standards, the application has become more user-friendly, intuitive and functional, fully meeting customer expectations and providing a high level of security.
